I have a new iphone app on the store, which has to do with my transitional state as I moved back from Japan to the States. Take from it what you will, but don’t expect it to organize your photos.

This is what my checkered tenugi looks like during the first rinse, with the dye coming out in soapy pink water.

I was surprised to find a 4:20 long video of someone playing with my app with their cat. If you can believe it, in the second video the cats are trying to use it!

This is a book i made for my cousin’s kids (3-4 yr olds). It’s a lot of fun, and only took an hour to make – An hour in exchange for inexplicable joy and entertainment.

This is a cover for the libretto of my Aunt’s soprano recital, but it didn’t quite meet my level of expectation. As Ira Glass says, as beginners, we have really good taste, but the gap between what we make and what we would like to make at first seem disparate; only with a lot of practice do we begin to bridge that gap. Since Fabrica and Tokyo I’ve become sincerely interested in understanding the process of good design.
